Our Team

Jeff serves as a Financial Advisor at Bontide, bringing more than two decades of experience in financial services and a grounded, client-focused perspective to his work.  Originally from Oklahoma, he relocated to Alaska in 2001 and began his career with Wells Fargo.  There, he developed a strong foundation in banking and financial markets while serving clients across both primary and secondary markets within large financial institutions.

After returning to Oklahoma in 2007, Jeff expanded his professional experience through entrepreneurship, spending several years investing in and renovating residential properties. This combination of institutional expertise and hands-on investing experience shaped his belief that successful financial planning should be both strategic and practical. In 2024, Jeff transitioned into his role as a Financial Advisor, where his long-standing interests in investing and customer service naturally aligned.

Jeff approaches financial planning with a steady, thoughtful style, taking time to understand each client’s goals, values, and circumstances before developing strategies designed to support long-term growth and stability. Known for being approachable, detail-oriented, and reliable, he values building relationships rooted in trust, clarity, and consistency.

Jeff and his wife were married in 2000 and recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They have two children and three grandchildren and have lived in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow areas for the past 18 years. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys barbecuing, camping, attending church, and spending time outdoors, and he and his wife enjoy traveling—especially when it involves a beach getaway in Mexico. 

Jennifer serves as our Director of Marketing here at Bontide, where she brings the brand to life through thoughtful strategy, clear communication, and meaningful digital experiences. Her career began in real estate, where she learned firsthand the value of trust, education, and truly listening to clients—principles that continue to guide her work today.

She later transitioned into wealth management to support her husband, Wes our founder and Senior Advisor at Bontide, after seeing an opportunity to use her skills in a way that could directly serve clients and strengthen the firm’s mission. Jennifer believes marketing should never feel transactional; instead, it should connect people to honest information that matters to them and helps them feel confident in their financial decisions.  Jennifer plays a key role in shaping how the firm communicates its values, commitment, and client-first philosophy.

Jennifer lives in Tulsa with her husband, three children, and two dogs.  When not at work she enjoys painting, reading, and traveling. She is actively involved in volunteering at local schools and coaches cheerleading. These experiences fuel her belief that strong relationships—built on trust, clarity, and care—are at the heart of both effective marketing and meaningful work. 

Julia Talley is our Administrative Director at Bontide, playing a vital role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly for both the team and the clients they serve. With a M.S. in Forensic Science her background is rooted in accuracy, organization, and problem-solving, Julia brings structure and consistency to the many details that support our functionality here at Bontide.

She is often the steady presence touching on all aspects of our client experience—ensuring essential processes are handled with care, timelines are met, and nothing is overlooked. Julia takes pride in being reliable and approachable, and she is known for her ability to anticipate needs while helping others feel at ease. Her thoughtful attention to detail allows our advisors to provide clients with truly comprehensive wealth management focusing on what matters most, confident that the operational side is in capable hands.

Julia’s approach to her work reflects her belief that strong operations are built on trust, clear communication, and follow-through. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her two children and her two dogs, finding balance in family life and the everyday moments that matter most. That same sense of care and commitment carries through in everything she does—both professionally and personally. 

Wes is a Senior Financial Advisor, Investment Adviser Representative, and Bontide founder with more than two decades of experience helping individuals and families create lasting financial security. As a Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), he works closely with families, business owners, and emerging professionals who value intentional planning and legacy-driven wealth.

Wes provides comprehensive wealth growth and management strategies by bringing together the financial pieces most people leave scattered. Rather than relying on a plug-and-play approach, he takes the time to understand each client’s unique goals, values, and circumstances. From there, he designs tailored strategies grounded in sound financial principles, informed by economic outlooks and market insight, and aligned with both short- and long-term objectives.

Known for being approachable, knowledgeable, and thorough, Wes has built his practice around the belief that wealth should be well structured. His firm operates with the professionalism and strategy of an established institution, while maintaining the warmth, care, and trust of a family. Clients appreciate his assured yet collaborative style and his ability to bring clarity and confidence to complex financial decisions.

Based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wes and his wife , Jennifer, are raising their three children and two dogs while remaining deeply connected to their community. He enjoys time outdoors fishing and hunting and actively volunteers with local organizations including the Rotary Club, the Jenks Community Food Bank, and his church.
